iRC TIRE was the official tire sponsor for the 2025 Unbound Gravel

▶Heather Jackson set a new personal best and placed 8th overall in the 2025 Unbound Gravel XL Women's Race, completing 350 miles (about 480 km) in 20 hours, 57 minutes and 57 seconds.
She used iRC's "BOKEN DOUBLECROSS TUBELESS READY" tires. The dense tread pattern of these tires provides puncture resistance from the sharp flintstones of Kansas.
In an interview with bikeradar.com's Ryan Simonovich, Heather Jackson said, "I know some people were running with slicks in the middle, because it would clear mud easier," "But when you have the chunky treads, it protects against flats a lot more because you have all that extra rubber. I think there were a couple times I definitely would have flatted, like I just nailed some rocks, but I never flatted."
iRC Sponsors Unbound Gravel and Decorates Emporia
iRC served as the official tire sponsor of UNBOUND GRAVEL again this year. They set up a large booth at the EXPO to assist participants who had trouble on their way to Kansas, and also held a pop-up event for their new products, "BOKEN PRO" and "BOKEN G-CLAW," at their shop in Emporia.
The race start street in Emporia was decorated with iRC banners and photos of tires, helping to liven up UNBOUND GRAVEL.
Peter Stetina completed a grueling 200 mile ride on a BOKEN G-CLAW and BOKEN PRO.
He has the power to win, but sometimes things don't go well.
Peter's result at UNBOUND in 2025 was 20th place with a time of 8:59:03. Although the weather and environment change, the finishing time for the 200 miles is getting shorter every year. In the year of peanut butter in 2023, the top time was 11:38:45. Last year on a super dry road surface, it was 9:11:47. And this year's top time is a whopping 8:37:09. Of course, Peter's time was also about 23 minutes faster. Gravel equipment is evolving every year, and the races are getting faster.
iRC gave Peter a new choice. The 700X50C BOKEN G-CLAW and the 700×47C BOKEN PRO. He chose the BOKEN PRO for both front and rear wheels at the start. However, he was not feeling well until the 149-mile checkpoint in the town of Council Grove. He filled up with water, drank some coke, swapped his front tire for a G-CLAW, and then accelerated past over 10 riders, covering 200 miles at an average speed of 22.5 mph.

2025年のUNBOUNDでのピーターの成績は、8時間59分3秒のタイムで20位でした。天候や環境は年により変化しますが、200マイル（約320km）の完走タイムは年々短くなっています。2023年のピーナッツバターコースのトップタイムは11時間38分45秒でした。昨年は、とてもドライな路面で、トップタイムは9時間11分47秒でした。そして今年のトップタイムは、なんと8時間37分9秒です。もちろん、ピーターのタイムも約23分短縮されました。グラベルの機材は年々進化しており、レースはより高速化しています。
iRCからはピーターに新しい選択肢がありました。 700×50CのBOKEN G-CLAWと700×47CのBOKEN PRO。スタート時は前後輪ともBOKEN PROを選択しました。しかし、カウンシルグローブの町にある149マイル（約240km）のチェックポイントに到着するまで体調が優れませんでした。水を補給し、コーラを飲み、フロントタイヤをG-CLAWに交換すると、10人以上のライダーを追い抜き、平均時速22.5マイル（約36.3km）で200マイル（約320km）を走破しました。
